Job Title: Behaviour Support Worker - Wakefield

Rate: -90 - -110 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will:

• Work on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to support students with behavioural and emotional needs.
• Implement and monitor behaviour management plans, ensuring consistency and clear expectations.
• Support students in developing social skills, self-regulation techniques, and emotional resilience.
• Assist in maintaining a calm, structured, and positive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, parents/carers, and external professionals to provide effective support for students.

What We''re Looking For:

• Experience working with children or young people with behavioural challenges and emotional needs.
• A strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and intervention techniques.
• A genuine passion for supporting children and young people in their social, emotional, and academic development.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).

To be eligible, you must:

• Have the Right to Work in the UK.
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to apply for a new DBS.
