TeacherActive is proud to be working with a SEND school based in Sale, Trafford, who are looking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant. The school supports children with complex needs and provides a nurturing environment where pupils can develop their confidence, independence and skills.

The school is looking to take on a SEND Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis from September, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will work closely with children with complex needs, providing consistent support with their learning, development and engagement throughout the school day.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable

• Previous experience working within a UK SEND school is essential

• Experience supporting children with complex needs

• Strong communication skills

• A patient and resilient approach

• A nurturing, adaptable and positive attitude
