We''re currently recruiting for an Estimator to join an established and expanding construction business in Greater Manchester. This is a varied role offering the opportunity to take ownership of estimating while also getting involved in client relationships, business development and supporting the wider growth of the company.

Working closely with the Directors, you''ll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates and quotations, while also helping identify new opportunities and develop client relationships.

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates in line with client requirements
• Produce professional and timely quotations
• Read and interpret construction drawings
• Monitor project costs throughout ongoing works
• Manage incoming enquiries and identify potential opportunities
• Support business development and develop new client relationships
• Liaise with clients and internal teams throughout the estimating process
• Support the company''s marketing and brand development
• Work closely with the Directors to support business growth
• Take initiative and contribute ideas to develop the role

Ideally, you''ll have:

• Ability to read and understand construction drawings
• Experience with CAD
• Relevant degree-level education would be advantageous
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• A hardworking, reliable and flexible approach
• Strong initiative and a willingness to take ownership
• A genuine interest in construction and business development
