Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen team at our high-end, fast-paced Italian restaurant with a Peruvian influence in the Cayman Islands. This is an exciting opportunity for a culinary professional with a passion for Italian cuisine and the ability to thrive under pressure. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, developing innovative yet authentic Italian menus, maintaining the highest food quality standards, and mentoring a talented culinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead daily kitchen operations with a hands-on approach

Create and execute seasonal Italian menus focused on quality and presentation

Manage inventory, ordering, and kitchen cost control

Enforce food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations

Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff

Collaborate with front-of-house leadership to ensure exceptional guest experience

Candidate Requirements:

Required experience as Head Chef and 10 years in Italian Cuisine in a high-volume, full-service restaurant

Strong foundation in authentic Italian cuisine, Fresh Fish and high end ingredients.

Proven team leadership and staff development skills

Excellent organizational, communication, and time management abilities

Experience with budgeting, food costing, and supplier management

Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience

Willingness to relocate to the Cayman Islands.
