The Company and the Role My client is looking for a Design Engineer to join their design office. This role involves the design, development, and ongoing technical support of the company s products, in line with the quality standards set by the business. You will also take on additional tasks as requested by management to support the company s wider development strategy. Responsibilities • Design engineering assemblies incorporating mechanical and electrical systems • Support new product development projects as directed by management • Provide technical assistance to both production and sales teams • Liaise with suppliers on technical specifications and component details • Create, manage, and update technical assembly and manufacturing drawings • Contribute to design and development decision-making processes • Assist with the construction and testing of prototypes from concept through to pre-production • Prepare and manage Bills of Materials (BOMS) Experience and Skills Formal engineering qualification (degree or equivalent experience preferred) Proven experience in a design engineering role within a technical or manufacturing environment Proficient in 3D CAD design and technical drawing production Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes Experience working with a range of materials such as metals and plastics Salary Salary will be discussed with your consultant during your call.
