Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.

• Differentiate teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL pupils.

• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and pupil progress.

• Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.

• Contribute to school initiatives, staff meetings, and the wider school community.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.

• Previous experience teaching within a primary school setting.

• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum.

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

• A positive, professional, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.

• A strong commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
