Due to continued growth, our client is looking for an experienced Panel Technician (Level 3 Qualified) to join their professional and modern repair centre.This role is ideal for a skilled bodyshop technician with strong panel repair and MET experience who takes pride in high-quality vehicle repairs and working to manufacturer and insurance standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out panel repairs to manufacturer and insurer standardsComplete structural and non-structural repairs, including chassis alignmentPerform full MET duties (strip and refit) following job cards and repair plansUndertake welding operations (MIG/MAG, spot welding, bonding) in line with certified proceduresAccurately assess vehicle damage and apply approved repair techniquesWork closely with estimators, painters, and workshop controllersEnsure repairs meet BSI, Thatcham, and insurance approval standardsMaintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environmentComplete all job documentation accurately and on timeEssential RequirementsNVQ / IMI Level 3 in Vehicle Accident Repair - PanelNVQ / IMI Level 3 MET (Mechanical, Electrical and Trim)Certified Welding Qualification (valid certificate required)Proven experience in a busy bodyshop or accident repair centreStrong knowledge of modern vehicle construction (steel, aluminium, bonded panels)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamDesirable ..... full job details .....
