Are you an experienced DT Technician looking for a new opportunity within a secondary school?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a secondary school in Wirral who are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic DT Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practical experience in a school, workshop or similar environment who enjoys supporting students and staff within a Design & Technology setting.

The Role:

• Preparing materials, tools and equipment for practical lessons
• Supporting teachers and students during DT lessons
• Maintaining a safe, organised and well-equipped workshop
• Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained and stored correctly
• Assisting with stock control and ordering materials
• Supporting with the preparation and clearing away of practical activities
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience within a DT, workshop or practical environment
• Good knowledge of workshop tools, equipment and materials
• Strong understanding of health and safety
• Organised, reliable and proactive
• Confident working alongside both teachers and students
• Previous school experience is desirable but not essential
