Your new companyA well-established, family-owned fit-out and partitioning contractor based in Glasgow is seeking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join their growing team. With a strong reputation across the Scottish market, this business delivers high-quality interior fit-out and partitioning projects across a range of sectors, with values typically up to -5 million.
Your new role

This is a varied and hands-on position, offering a blend of both Quantity Surveying and Estimating responsibilities. You will work closely with the Director, supporting across the full project lifecycle-from tender stage through to final account. The role provides excellent exposure to both commercial management and pre-construction activities within a supportive and collaborative environment.Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and submitting competitive tenders and cost estimates
• Assisting in the commercial management of live projects
• Preparing valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Supporting project delivery to ensure cost efficiency and profitability
• Working closely with senior leadership on strategic and operational matters

What you''ll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying and/or Estimating role, ideally within fit-out, interiors, or partitions
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities across both pre- and post-contract stages
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive approach and willingness to work within a close-knit team
