You will be working a 35-hour week Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis. This role will start immediately, so sadly candidates with a lengthy notice period cannot be considered.Temporary Accountant Responsibilities Assist with quarterly VAT returns and the annual Partial Exemption adjustmentPrepare and post endowment gains/losses and related movement journalsPost nominal ledger journals, including depreciation and ad-hoc adjustmentsReview creditors, debtors, and balance sheet items, making necessary adjustmentsSupport month-end routines including variance analysis and budget commentaryPost pension scheme and subsidiary journalsAssist with statutory year-end accounts and respond to audit queriesProduce monthly and quarterly financial reports for internal stakeholdersHelp prepare cashflow forecastsContribute to the review and testing of financial procedures and documentationHandle other delegated finance tasks as required Temporary Accountant RewardsAlongside a competitive hourly rate, the ..... full job details .....
