Hyreus is recruiting for an experienced HVAC and Commercial Gas Service Engineer to join a reputable OEM, covering customers and sites across the West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled service engineer with a strong HVAC background and the relevant FGAS and Commercial Gas qualifications to work on a range of commercial and industrial equipment. The role will involve servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and repairing a range of HVAC systems, including chillers, air handling units (AHUs) and air source heat pumps (ASHPs), alongside commercial gas equipment. You will work directly with customers and site teams, providing a professional and reliable service while representing a well-established OEM within the industry. Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance, servicing and reactive repairs on HVAC and commercial gas equipment. Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and refrigeration faults. Work on chillers, AHUs, ASHPs and associated HVAC systems. Carry out service and maintenance activities on commercial gas equipment. Complete fault-finding and diagnostic work to identify the root cause of system issues. Ensure equipment is operating safely, efficiently and in accordance with manufacturer requirements. Complete commissioning, testing and performance checks where required. Respond to breakdowns and provide effective technical solutions.
