Reporting directly to the Legal and Insurance Director, you will provide expert advice on a broad spectrum of commercial and operational legal issues. From drafting and negotiating complex contracts to advising on compliance, risk, and strategic business projects, you will be a trusted advisor to the business.The role is ideal for a commercial lawyer who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment. You will work on matters involving high-value commercial transactions, regulatory compliance (including data privacy and anti-bribery), and support pre-litigation strategy where necessary. Your legal input will support commercial bids and tenders, internal training, and cross-functional collaboration with teams such as sales, procurement, finance, and HR.This is a chance to join a close-knit and supportive team where your voice matters and your expertise will directly contribute to the company’s goals. Qualified lawyer (UK) minimum five years’ PQEMinimum of 3 years in a corporate or commercial role in private practice; in-house experience preferred2 Days in the officeStrong experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contractsKnowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, competition law, anti-bribery)Desirable: experience in the technology or utilitiesSeniority level
