Health and Safety Manager Lancashire / North West Permanent We Are Footprint are working with a well-established home improvements and construction business who are looking to add an experienced Health and Safety Manager to their team. This is a hands-on role supporting multiple sites across Lancashire, Cumbria, Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, working closely with operational teams to maintain high health and safety standards across installation projects, customer properties, offices and showrooms. The Role Carry out regular site inspections, audits and risk assessments across multiple locations. Provide practical health and safety advice to site teams, managers, employees and contractors. Ensure compliance with current legislation, including CDM 2015. Support the safe delivery of refurbishment, installation and home improvement works. Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, putting corrective actions in place. Develop and deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings and training. Monitor and follow up health and safety actions through to completion. Support contractor PQQs, competence checks and documentation. Keep up to date with legislation and industry best practice. Help promote a positive health and safety culture across the business.
