We are looking for an experienced field service engineer to join our forward-thinking client to help their team achieve their ambitious growth plans.Working on customers sites and at their workshop, your role will be interesting and varied. Along with the ongoing requirement for servicing and preventative maintenance work, you will be expected to be able to carry out diagnosis and subsequent repair work to both clients and the company s own equipment as well as carrying out thorough examination inspections.To be considered for the role, you ll require the following essentials: In-depth mechanical and electrical experience including strong diagnosis and repair skillsExperience in a similar role is essentialExperience of hydraulics and electrical equipmentStrong communication skills with the ability to liaise concisely with all levels of customersA flexible and helpful attitude to workTo be able to work as part of a team or under your own initiativeA full driving licenceA tool kit Within this position, you ll also be: Servicing, preventative maintenance and repair of both company owned and customer forklift trucks ensuring unscheduled repairs are minimised.Provide clear information regarding equipment, service, repair or inspection status and to advise actions that maybe required to maintain the equipment.Liaison with the parts department to ensure appropriate repairs are carried out to the required time frames.Completion of documentation to company standardsAlways Work within ..... full job details .....
