MEICA Design Manager - Clean Water Infrastructure

I''m working with a Tier 1 infrastructure contractor delivering major clean and wastewater projects across the UK. They''re looking to appoint a MEICA Design Manager to lead the design and coordination of mechanical, electrical, and process engineering on technically complex treatment and pumping station schemes.

• Lead MEICA design for clean water projects, ensuring solutions are compliant, buildable, and efficient

• Integrate process, mechanical, and electrical engineering across treatment and pumping systems

• Provide technical input across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning stages

• Evaluate suppliers and subcontractors to ensure technical compliance

• Participate in design risk reviews (HAZOP, ALM) and ensure CDM compliance

• Act as the key technical point of contact for internal teams, stakeholders, and clients

• HNC / Degree in Process, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (or related field)

• Proven experience delivering MEICA or process design on clean or wastewater projects

• Background in pumping station design and delivery

• Strong understanding of MEICA interfaces and water industry standards (e.g. DWI, EA)

• Familiarity with HAZOP, ALM, and CDM regulations

• Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Infraworks, ReCap Pro
