Key Responsibilities

- Delivery of detailed protection and control design for transmission and distribution projects (33kV-132kV)
- Production of protection schematics, single line diagrams, specifications, and technical documentation
- Review and interpretation of client requirements to develop appropriate engineering solutions
- Attendance at client and project meetings, representing engineering input clearly and professionally
- Coordination with multidisciplinary engineering teams and external stakeholders including DNO/DSOs
- Support project delivery from early-stage design through to completion
- Contribution to technical reports, design reviews, and engineering assurance processes
- Mentoring and supporting junior engineers where required
- Ensuring compliance with relevant UK, European, and industry standards

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years'' experience in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Protection & Control
- Proven experience delivering protection design within UK transmission and distribution projects
- Strong understanding of high-voltage systems (33kV-132kV)
- Experience producing detailed protection design documentation and technical deliverables
- Working knowledge of CDM regulations and associated design risk responsibilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple project demands
