The Role - Learning Support Assistant
Seeking a resilient and proactive Learning Support Assistant to support pupils aged 11-16 within a PRU setting. You will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils re-engage with learning and manage behaviour effectively. The role involves supporting pupils with SEMH needs, implementing behaviour strategies, promoting emotional regulation and contributing to a structured, consistent and supportive learning environment.

This pupil referral unit is located in the London Borough of Lewisham and is within walking distance of a nearby London Overground station. The provision supports pupils who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion, offering personalised learning, strong behaviour support and clear reintegration pathways.
