Supplier Quality Engineer – Contract

You’ll be responsible for ensuring supplier quality and operational performance across a busy aerospace environment. This will involve everything from supplier reviews and corrective action validation on the shopfloor, through to reporting, risk management, and supporting critical part deliveries.Strong knowledge of supplier quality processes

and proficiency in

8D problem solvingExperience conducting

supplier reviews

and validating corrective actions directly on-siteConfidence working in industrial shopfloor environments and following through on actions autonomouslyEffective communicator, able to represent the client professionally with suppliers and internal teamsFamiliarity with reporting on

OTD

(On-Time Delivery) and

OQD

(On-Quality Delivery)Ability to manage critical parts, prioritise deliveries, and track/report operational progressStrong analytical skills with experience in risk identification, mitigation, and monitoring KPIsQualifications and Experience

Experience with large aerospace organisations is highly advantageousSupplier quality processes knowledge and 8D problem solving proficiencyExperience conducting supplier reviews and validating corrective actions on-siteExperience in industrial environments and ability to work autonomouslyStrong communication skills with suppliers and internal teamsExperience with OTD and OQD reportingAnalytical skills for risk identification, mitigation, and KPI monitoringAdditional information
