Role Overview

This role will be covering the UK. We are seeking skilled and motivated Setting Out Engineer to join an established team. The successful candidates will play a key role in delivering accurate site engineering services across a range of piling and ground engineering projects.

Setting Out Engineer Candidate Requirements

• The Setting Out Engineer will have proven experience in setting out for piling or groundworks.
• Proficient with Leica iCon surveying equipment (advantageous) (e.g., GPS, Total Station).
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
• CSCS card and relevant site certifications.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of Autocad.
• Previous knowledge of Microsoft Excel. 
• Flexibility with travel as this role covers the UK. 
• Driving Licence.

Setting Out Engineer Key Responsibilities

• Setting out for piling works including CFA, driven piles, Precast Foundations.
• Interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Ensuring accurate positioning and alignment of piles and foundations.
• Maintaining site records and quality assurance documentation.
• Conducting site surveys and producing as-built drawings.
• Ensuring health and safety compliance on site.
