Project Director / Director of Project Management - GIS / Transformer Projects Location: London Sector: Energy / HV Engineering Role Overview: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Director to work for our client at their facility in London, the role will provide strategic leadership, oversight, and direction across the full lifecycle of transformer and GIS projects.The role will be involved from sales handover through design review, factory audits, installation, commissioning, and long-term maintenance, this is an exciting role that will ensures safe, timely, and compliant project delivery for key clients, including National Grid and Scottish Power, while driving excellence in execution, client satisfaction, and business growth.As the senior point of contact, the Director will guide and mentor internal project managers, coordinate with contractors and partners, and represent the company to clients and stakeholders at the highest level.Key Responsibilities:Project Oversight and Delivery Lead end-to-end delivery of transformer and GIS projects, from design review through lifecycle maintenance.Approve project plans, budgets, schedules, and progress reports.Chair weekly project reviews to monitor risks, performance, and improvement opportunities.Ensure projects meet safety, technical, commercial, and regulatory requirements.
