Shift Production Manager, Corby, Days, Salary Circa £50,000 We are looking to recruit a Production Manager with experience in the food or FMCG industry, with an understanding of how raw materials are manufactured into the finished food product. The ideal Production Manager will have exposure to lean manufacturing including; 5s, Kaizen and Kanban. This role requires the Production Manager to be extremely driven and have a proven track record of man management, continuous process management, be team orientated, have excellent decision-making ability, as well as be a good communicator to all levels of personnel. As the Shift Production Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the production team, and equipment, reporting directly to the Site Manager. You will be directly responsible for the management of 4 direct reports, and indirectly responsible for up to 60 - 100 reports. Responsibilities will comprise of: Man-management and team building. Monitoring production KPIs. Handling management issues. Structuring the site for optimal performance. Implementing continuous improvement and reliability measures. Budget and cost control.
