The Role:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable).
• Plan, mark, and assess work in line with the schoolandrsquo;s curriculum.
• Foster a positive classroom environment with strong behaviour management.
• Support students of all abilities to achieve their academic potential.
• Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school literacy initiatives.
• Participate in school events, parent evenings, and professional development.

Ideal Candidate:

• Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.
• Experience teaching in a UK secondary school (NQTs/ECTs welcome).
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
• Enthusiastic, driven, and committed to the progress of every student.
• Willing to undergo or currently holds an enhanced DBS check.
