We are currently recruiting for a Reinsurance Claims Manager on behalf of one of the leading insurers in the Lloyd''s of London insurance market.Role SummaryThe Reinsurance Claims Manager will proactively manage the portfolio, comprising Casualty Treaty, Marine Treaty, Property Treaty, and Aviation Treaty claims. The role is responsible for the oversight of all reinsurance claims adjustment in the UK, ensuring high-quality, timely, and fair evaluation and settlement of claims.Key ResponsibilitiesPortfolio Management: Lead and manage all aspects of the UK reinsurance claims portfolio. Ensure timely, accurate assessment and fair settlement of claims, maintaining close control over high-profile, complex, and catastrophe losses.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including brokers, cedants, underwriters, actuaries, brokers, finance, and outwards reinsurance. Collaboration and Reporting: Facilitate effective communication and information sharing with global claims teams, especially with Bermuda and Singapore offices. Team Leadership and Development: Inspire, guide, and empower a high-performing claims team.
