We are seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to lead high-quality social care services for children, young people and families.Position: Operations ManagerLocation: Reading with travel to provisionsSalary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annumContract: Full-time, PermanentHours: 37.5 hours per weekAbout the RoleAs Operations Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in the day-to-day running of children’s residential care, supported accommodation and family services. Working closely with the CEO, you’ll lead and support a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care that meets regulatory standards and delivers meaningful outcomes.Key responsibilities include:

Leading service development and driving continuous improvement.Managing and supporting staff recruitment, rotas, supervision, and performance.Overseeing service delivery to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with Ofsted, Children’s Homes Regulations and Supported Accommodation Regulations.Building and maintaining effective partnerships with local authorities and external stakeholders.Leading risk management processes and incident response.Monitoring service outcomes and contributing to strategic planning through reports and evaluations.

Essential:
