I am on the hunt for a Project Design Manager to manage a team responsible for complete design delivery for their assigned projects, ensuring excellence in execution and meeting client expectations. Key Responsibilities Leadership and Mentoring Lead and inspire the design team through all stages of the project. Act as the primary point of contact for client design management. Mentor and develop (trainee) project engineers during the design phase. Design Management Create and manage design programmes aligned with overall project timelines. Monitor and manage design deliverables, change management, and variations. Oversee the creation of models, calculations, drawings, and schedules to ensure they meet internal systems and client standards. Manage BIM deliverables, ensuring compliance with client BIM Execution Plans. Ensure the safe construction of works through effective management of CDM and temporary works requirements. Support the Pre-Construction team during early project stages as needed. Collaboration and Communication Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project teams. Facilitate clear communication of project objectives to all stakeholders. Conduct weekly project design meetings and hold key stage design reviews.
