The Role and About You

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our night shift train cleaning team. Your primary responsibility will be maintaining the highest cleanliness standards through Full & Deep Cleans before trains return to service, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for thousands of passengers. You will be responsible for deep cleaning, which includes meticulous interior cleaning such as mopping, vacuuming, disinfecting all surfaces, cleaning upholstery, and performing touchpoint sanitization. You will be working as part of the cleaning team at Eastcroft Depot and Nottingham Station.

Key details:

This position is based on a fixed, compressed shift pattern, offering excellent work-life balance and a reliable routine.

The shift pattern consists of four days on four off and the working hours of 19:00pm – 05:00am with overtime available at the discretion of the management team.

The pay rate for the Night Shift Train Cleaner position is £14.93 per hour.

The position will begin with an initial 4-6 week period at Nottingham Station, during which you will receive support to obtain your in-house Personal Track Safety (PTS) certification.
