We have an exciting new opportunity to work as a Production Cleaner in a busy food production company based in Barking. We are looking for energetic, experienced person to strengthen their friendly team. Your main role: Responsible for the cleanliness of all designated areas and equipment using appropriate equipment/and or materials as supplied in line with cleaning schedules. Key Responsibilities: Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness with assigned areas by ensuring that relevant work instructions/schedules and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed. Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of all washrooms/toilet facilities, locker rooms, canteens, kitchens, offices, and other common areas including warehouse. Ensure cleanliness of factory production areas, including and not exhaustive production equipment, surfaces, overheads etc. Liaise daily with other members of the production in identifying areas/procedures requiring improvement to allow improved performance. Ensure the stocks of cleaning chemicals are stored safely and report any shortfalls. Ensure all products are used and stored in accordance with the relevant COSHH Regulations. Ensure completion of all hygiene related documents i.e., daily check-list reports. Observe and adhere to all HandS procedures, ensuring you are working in a safe manner, that personal safety and that of others is key priority.
