Electronics Assembly / SMT Technician Salary: £30,000 - £33,000Job Type: PermanentLocation: Site-based (local) Reed Engineering are currently working in partnership with a well-established and growing Contract Electronics Manufacturing (CEM) business who are looking to recruit an experienced Electronics Assembly / SMT Technician to join their production team. This opportunity would suit a hands-on electronics solderer with experience working to IPC standards, who enjoys variety, quality-driven work, and being part of a close-knit, collaborative team producing a wide range of electronic products. The Role As an Electronics Assembly / SMT Technician, you will play a key role in the production of high-quality electronic assemblies. The role is primarily focused on precision hand soldering, with additional exposure to wider SMT and production activities. While experience operating SMT pick-and-place machinery is advantageous, it is not essential, as full training and cross-skilling will be provided for the right individual. This is a business-critical hire due to continued growth and increasing workload, offering long-term stability and a varied workload rather than repetitive production line work.
