Workshop Recruitment are looking for an experienced roofer, our client operates within reactive maintenance within social housing.The key activities you will undertake in this role will be a wide variety of roofing repairs at occupied homes and empty properties. The work will include; pitch, and flat roof repairs including replacement of tiles, felt, eave trays, lead repairs/replacement, mineral sheet repairs/replacement (torch on), and non-licenced asbestos removal (where full training will be given).KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLSNVQ level 2-3 in roofing or equivalent.A DBS/Criminal Background check will be completed prior to employment starting2 5 yrs. experience of working in Social Housing or Building Maintenance environment.Ability to work at height.Be able to demonstrate you are a competent tradesperson and have the tools to do the work.Have knowledge of the materials and methods used in the building and maintenance industry working on historic / listed buildings.Be comfortable in dealing with residents / building representatives and always remain professional.Understand the need to complete outstanding pieces of work and deal with work, completely and in one go.Be able to self-manage and be self-motivated, prioritizing and programming work in the most efficient manner.Excellent customer service skills (Essential)BENEFITSVan and fuel cardUniform providedGood benefits package including sick pay and BUPASmart Pension Rewards ProgrammeREQUIREMENTSMust have a clean manual UK Driving ..... full job details .....
