Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Lead

-60,000 - -70,000 + Car Allowance + Package

Sphere Solutions are working with a growing regional contractor to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Lead for a landmark multi-storey residential scheme.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial delivery of a major residential project
• Manage subcontractor procurement and JCT subcontract packages
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts and valuations
• Assess subcontractor applications and issue Payment and Pay Less Notices
• Manage variations, supplier payments and final accounts
• Work closely with the project team to ensure commercial success throughout delivery

About You

• Previous experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Lead
• Main contractor experience on large construction projects
• Strong knowledge of JCT contracts
• Excellent commercial, procurement and cost management skills
• Able to work independently and take ownership of a major scheme
