Our client, a specialist in the rail sector, is currently seeking experienced Electrical Design Engineers with a focus on low voltage (LV) systems to join their dynamic team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for those with a background in London Underground (LU) or rail projects and will involve working on crucial LU upgrade projects.Key Responsibilities:Designing electrical systems for LV lighting and screens within rail environmentsCollaborating with a strong team of engineers to deliver high-quality design solutionsPreparing detailed electrical design specifications and drawingsEnsuring all designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulationsProviding technical support throughout the project lifecycleParticipating in design reviews and providing input on engineering solutionsMaintaining effective communication with project stakeholdersJob Requirements:Experience in electrical design within the rail sector, ideally with LU projectsStrong proficiency in electrical design software and toolsExcellent understanding of LV systems and relevant regulationsAbility to produce detailed design documentation and drawingsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailEffective communication and collaboration skillsRelevant electrical engineering degree or equivalent qualificationContract Details:6-month contract with an immediate start8 hours per day, with all work conducted during the dayOutside IR35Office based in Stratford with 2 days working from home (WFH)If ..... full job details .....
