My Client, a specialist Geoenvironmental and Flood Risk Management Consultancy, is searching for a Graduate Flood Risk Consultant to join their team in Manchester. -

You will join a growing team of Flood Risk Consultants who specialise in flood risk appraisals and due diligence for Property Developers, Insurance Companies and Commercial Clients across the UK. -

As a Graduate Flood Risk Consultant you will be a key part of the friendly and supportive team, providing advice to Clients to identify cost-effective solutions to mitigate flood risk and ensure sites adhered to statutory requirements, prior to purchase.

You will be trained and supported to complete;

Risk assessments

Targeting flood mitigation strategies

Flood risk assessments

Flood risk appraisals and pre-acquisition due diligence.

GIS Mapping

Drainage strategies-

Mitigation strategies and provide advice, prior to purchase. -

You will also have the chance in the upcoming months to be involved in site investigation works, hydraulic modelling and drainage design.-

Alternative offices available in Bradford, if preferred! You will work from the office 2-3 days a week. -

Candidates are required to have an academic background in Flood Risk Management, Environmental Management or Civil Engineering and experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing flood risk assessments. -

A keen interest in GIS, drainage and ground investigations is also required.-
