This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), knowledgeable about the SEND Code of Practice, and experienced in writing plans and supporting annual reviews. The successful candidate will work closely with parents, carers, and educational settings, ensuring a professional and sensitive service.Day-to-day of the role:Implement all statutory duties as outlined in the relevant legislation for Children and Young People with SEND.Provide statutory advice and guidance relating to the Code of Practice and related legislation.Maintain and review all statutory procedures as set out in the Code of Practice and Regulations.Collaborate with parents/carers, children, and young people to ensure their views and wishes are integral to the assessment, planning, and review process.Manage the statutory processes for issuing and maintaining Plans within a defined caseload.Produce performance management information relevant to the service.Prepare casework for statutory panels, tribunals, and appeals as per legal requirements.Prepare high-quality and accurate reports and plans that are statutorily compliant.Offer a thorough and sensitive service to parents, carers, children, and young people, ensuring a positive experience of the Education, Health ..... full job details .....
