We are seeking a passionate and qualified Early Years Practitioner to join a well-established nursery in Greenwich, rated “Good” by Ofsted. This role involves supporting the nursery team in the day-to-day running of the room, fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 2 to 5 years to play, learn, and thrive.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure high standards of care, safety, and welfare for all children
• Act as a key person for allocated children, planning, observing, and assessing their development
• Build strong partnerships with parents to support children’s learning and progress
• Create an enabling environment with engaging activities tailored to individual needs
• Manage children’s behaviour positively and promote independence
• Support mealtimes, personal care, and hygiene routines
• Conduct risk assessments and uphold safeguarding protocols
• Participate in staff meetings, training, parents’ evenings, and nursery events

What We’re Looking For:

• A minimum Level 3 NVQ in Early Years Childcare (or equivalent)
• Sound understanding of the EYFS curriculum and statutory requirements
• Experience working with children aged 2-5 (preferred)
• Valid Paediatric First Aid qualification and safeguarding certificate (preferred)
• Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
• Creative, enthusiastic, caring, and committed to child development
• Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive approach to learning and growth
