Job Title: Tooling Design Engineer Location: West London, UK Our client is seeking an experienced Tooling Design Engineer to join their industrialisation and manufacturing engineering team based in West London. This job is a key technical role focused on enabling the successful introduction of high- reliability products into production environments, ensuring robust, safe, and efficient manufacturing processes for both submerged and terrestrial applications. In this job, you will be responsible for the design, development, validation, and continuous improvement of tooling, test systems, and manufacturing equipment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including RandD, production, quality, and supply chain to ensure products are fully industrialised in line with quality, cost, delivery, and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities for the Tooling Design Engineer job: Design and develop tooling, jigs, fixtures, and manufacturing equipment for production use Ensure Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) principles are applied Develop and improve automated test systems and production test benches Lead tooling and equipment projects from concept through to commissioning and validation Produce full technical documentation packages including drawings, procedures, and risk assessments Support production teams with technical troubleshooting, RCA, and process optimisation Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, PUWER standards, and internal procedures ..... full job details .....
