Purchase Ledger Clerk
I am extremely excited to be working for a leading business who are based in Doncaster. Due to expansion they''re now looking to recruit a purchase ledger clerk on a 6 month contract.The candidate will ideally be experienced with purchase ledger and be able to process a high volume of purchase invoices. The business offer some fantastic benefits, including the opportunity to work from home a few days per week. What will you be doing?Processing invoices for the group by following company procedures.Reconciliation of supplier statements and escalation point for query resolution.Responsible for clearing aged invoices and managing the timely processing of unapproved invoices.Point of contact for queries and escalations for Suppliers, supported by Senior members of the team.To support Senior team members of the team as and when necessary with ad hoc tasks.Prioritisation of workload effectively throughout the day to ensure all requirements are met.What skills are we looking for?You have strong communication (written and verbal) skills.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.Time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.Experience of the process and principles of Accounts Payable within the Finance departmentComputer literate.Good working knowledge on Open Accounts (desired but training will be given) or a similar accounts payable system.What''s on offer?Hybrid working.Various discounts.Free ..... full job details .....
