£60k to £70kAbout our ClientMy client is an industrial roofing and cladding specialist subcontractor working within the refurbishment market. They handle projects up to £1 million in value. Renowned within this sector, they are actively seeking a Planner to join their team.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProduce and update weekly progress programmes and site records.Inspect works for quality compliance and issue inspection test QA reports to clients.Schedule materials and labor, setting tasks to meet short and long-term project targets.Forecast and report on task durations, manage sequencing of works, and track changes to the programme.Handle internal progress reporting, attend site meetings, and ensure health and safety policy compliance.Present safety inductions for new personnel and visitors.Monitor and control subcontractor operations and staff to ensure work aligns with specifications and programme.Ensure health and safety standards are met by monitoring adherence to method statements and risk assessments.Develop coordination between trade contractors through daily meetings with trade supervisors.Seek and communicate information from consultant engineers and architects to trade package managers.Conduct meetings to plan and meet project targets, resolving construction issues to enhance productivity.About the CandidateAbility to work well with others.Must come from an Industrial Roofing and Cladding background.Ideally able to estimate as well.Analytical thinking skills.Excellent verbal communication skills.Persistence and determination.Ambition and a desire to succeed.Points of AppealGreat company to work for.Opportunities for progression within the company.Interesting projects.
