Buying Assistant

The company specialise specifically within the Retail and FMCG sector, working with some of the biggest industry leading brands, supplying goods to customers across the UK, bringing to market product categories that range from Crisps and Snacks, Household Goods and Toiletries to Groceries, Pet Care and Beer, Wines and Spirits. Due to expansion they are now looking to add a Buying Assistant. Essentially this role will be administrative support for all the buyers on the team. Buying Assistant Job Overview Role OverviewSupport the efficient running of the buying team by setting up and maintaining up to date product information in the systemUpdate and maintain Supplier cost prices in the systemUpdate and maintain Supplier information in the system (MOQ, lead time, contacts, Invoice Price List)Ensure excellent execution of products on the website (no missing images, customer friendly products descriptions, no missing information)Setting up and maintaining products on our ERP systemEnsuring mater data from suppliers is accurate and up to date in the systemMaintaining price files in the system Buying Assistant Job Requirements Good command of Microsoft excel (Microsoft Business Central wouldn''t be essential but is desirable)Good communication skillsAttention to detailProblem solving mentalityStrong numerical skills and ability to analyse ..... full job details .....
