Network Design Engineer Location: London (Hybrid - 2 days/week in office) Contract Length: 6 months About the Role We''re seeking a highly skilled Network Design Engineer with a strong background in Telco environments, particularly within mobile, security, and infrastructure domains. This is a hands-on technical role focused on designing and delivering carrier-grade network solutions that support Sky''s evolving platform and business strategy. What You''ll Do Produce High-Level and Low-Level Design Documents to support Sky''s network infrastructure. Lead software/hardware selection, bug scrubs, and security vulnerability assessments. Collaborate with Test and Delivery Engineers to review test plans, defects, and change tickets. Drive platform improvements, enable automation, and support DevOps capabilities. Design carrier-grade network solutions aligned with Sky''s standards. Work closely with stakeholders to elicit business and technical requirements. Influence network security feature roadmaps in partnership with strategic technology vendors. Provide input for budget submissions and case preparation. Must-Have Experience andamp; Skills: Proven experience working for a Service Provider or Carrier . Strong background in carrier-grade network design and service provider technologies.
