At Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager to join our commercial sales team, working with a distribution and contractor customer base across Yorkshire and Humber, selling our British Gypsum and Isover products.You will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with national and independent distribution partners and contractors within an agreed sales region, implementing a profitable and targeted sales plan to improve market share, product mix and commercial performance.You''ll be a practiced salesperson with a strong distribution and contractor mindset, highly customer-focused and experienced in selling construction products or solutions through distribution channels, with the ability to track projects from specification through to completion.This is a field-based role, with regular travel required to cover the Yorkshire and Humber region.What we''re looking for:Experience working in a sales role, ideally within construction, building materials or distributionStrong commercial acumen, including negotiation and margin managementA proactive approach, able to spot opportunities and fact-find through effective questioningAbility to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels within distribution and contractor organisationsConfident tracking live projects and pipeline opportunities to identify where our products can be specified and suppliedComfortable working under pressure and managing multiple priorities ..... full job details .....
