Account Manager
Role: Account Manager Location: Birmingham Business Park B37 (3 days) home working (2 days) Contract: Permanent Salary: 40,000 Benefits: Up to 10% company performance bonus potential, enhanced 7% employer pension scheme, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, life assurance x4 salary and health insurance We are supporting our client to recruit a proactive and experienced Account and Business Development Manager, who will be responsible for driving outbound commercial activity, managing the sales pipeline, and developing long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders. Initially the focus of your role will involve key account management, to build rapport and trusting relationships with existing clients to proactively upsell products and services. You will also be involved in lead generation, conversion of inbound enquiries, tender proposal management and managing sales pipeline to track current and lost opportunities to help shape strategies for growth. You will work closely with the Operations Director, to support the business in developing its brand outlook, and identifying current and emerging needs to be addressed. The successful candidate will have a proven B2B track record in key account management and business development ideally within Automotive, Aerospace or Manufacturing sector.
