We are looking for a Sales Executive (known internally as an Account Executive) in our Direct Sales Team. Our Account Executive role is the first step in your career within Sales at Funding Circle! Here you will learn the foundations of sales and account management starting with a tailored 2-week Sales Induction programme on joining. From there, you will be given ongoing tools and support to thrive in your role and eventually progress into more senior roles such as Account Manager, Business Development Executive, and Sales Team Manager.Salary:

Our Account Executive roles are phone-based and are the first point of contact with our Borrowers; speaking with them frequently during their Funding Circle journey. Daily activities include:Working with warm leads to generate new opportunities through business development (c.60-80 dials per day)Establishing rapport with customers via telephone and emailPitching the Funding Circle proposition against alternative funding optionsManaging a high-volume pipeline and supporting clients through application stagesAchieving monthly targets and continuously improving your approachProactively solving problems and mitigating risksWhat we’re looking for

Experience in sales or a service environment (not required but beneficial)Strong communication skills, confident engaging with small business owners over phone and emailAbility to develop and maintain a pipeline and manage applicationsProactivity and a desire to develop your career, with openness to feedbackWe’re committed to diversity and encourage applications even if your experience doesn’t match all requirements.Why join us?
