They are now looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team on the outskirts of Edinburgh.The Role:Carrying out reactive repairs, routine maintenance and testing across plant machinery and equipmentCompleting planned preventative maintenance work orders to improve reliability and minimise unplanned downtimeTaking a proactive approach to fault-finding and identifying opportunities to prevent recurring equipment failuresSupporting the development and implementation of preventative maintenance strategiesContributing to continuous improvement initiatives and supporting engineering and production KPI targetsEnsuring all maintenance records and auditable paperwork are completed accurately and maintained to the required standardWorking collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of equipment performance and operational efficiencyWhat We''re Looking For:Completed a recognised apprenticeship in an electrical or mechanical engineering disciplinePrevious maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing environmentAn electrical bias, with experience of PLCs and automation systems highly desirableStrong practical fault-finding and problem-solving skillsA good understanding of preventative maintenance practices and equipment ..... full job details .....
