Our client is a rapidly expanding road freight and logistics company based in Manchester they are now looking for a New Business Account Manager to help drive the business forward You''ll identify opportunities and help build long-term partnerships that actually matter.If you''re hungry, resilient, and serious about building a career in sales, this role will stretch you and reward you.Main responsibilities Creating Opportunities You''ll research, prospect, and build a pipeline of new business across multiple industries. High-volume outbound calling. Smart, confident, and purposeful conversations that uncover real logistics pain points. Listen to clients, diagnose needs, and position the right logistics solutions, not push products. Driving Deals Forward From first call to close, you''ll manage the sales cycle with discipline, urgency, and attention to detail. Building Trust, Not Transactions You''ll establish credibility fast and turn prospects into long-term clients. You''ll work closely with the wider sales team to spot trends, open new markets, and sharpen your approach.Experience required Sales experience, ideally logistics, transport, Road freight or supply chain (but mindset beats CV). Comfortable with cold calling and understands that rejection is part of success. Has a genuine hunger to win and hates being average.
