Our dedicated team continuously seeks new ways to improve and adapt our services, making a meaningful difference in the lives we touch.Role Overview:We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Female Paediatric Complex Care Assistant to support a 6-year-old boy with complex medical needs. The ideal candidate will have experience with tracheostomy care and be passionate about providing high-quality, personalized care for children.Key Responsibilities:Manage tracheostomy care, including tube care, dressing changes, and suctioningProvide respiratory support, ensuring the child’s airway is maintainedAssist with feeding, including enteral feeding if requiredSupport the child’s general wellbeing, including emotional and developmental needsProvide ongoing care and ensure the child is safe and comfortable at all timesKey Requirements:Experience with tracheostomy care and respiratory supportPrevious experience in paediatric complex careFemale carer requiredMust be a driver and able to travel to the child’s homeCompassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of a young childAre You Ready to Take the Next Step?If you already have experience in care and are looking to build on your skills and step into a more specialised role, this is a great opportunity for you. Our training programme begins with e-learning modules on important topics such as safeguarding and person-centred care. You’ll then receive face-to-face clinical training, where you’ll develop essential skills like tracheostomy care and specialised medication administration, for example, Buccal Midazolam.
