MacKenzie King are excited to be recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant on a 3-month assignment for a well-established manufacturing company based in the Stowmarket area. The role will support commercial and operational finance activities, with a strong focus on data analysis, reporting and margin review to support decision-making across the business.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPull data from finance and operational systems, ensuring completeness and accuracyAnalyse and reconcile data prior to reporting, ensuring figures align with finance recordsPrepare and distribute regular reports for internal stakeholdersPerform detailed Excel analysis, including lookups, reconciliations and variance analysisInvestigate unexpected results or variances and follow through to resolutionComplete transactional processing to support accurate reporting and analysisSupport business partnering activity across commercial, operations and project accounting teamsProduce freight, customer and margin analysis to support commercial decision-makingAssist with margin investigations and performance monitoringAct as a point of finance support for data and reporting queriesContribute to ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests as requiredQualification and Experience AAT qualified or equivalent experience in a finance or analytical roleStrong experience working with large datasets and reconciliationsAdvanced Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables and data analysisExperience pulling, analysing and ..... full job details .....
