Electrician 

Location: Ipswich based office / sites across London & South East

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE - Travel time paid OTE £50k+

Hours: Monday-Friday - Call out rota

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

A well-established national building services contractor is looking to expand its project team with experienced Electricians to work across major private and public sector projects, including high-security sites and government buildings.

The business has grown into a national contractor over the last 10 years with a high volume of engineers on the road daily, offering services across the mechanical and electrical sector. What You'll Be Doing

• Carry out electrical installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair works across Ipswich and nationwide sites
• Work across high-security sites and government buildings
• Follow instructions from Lead Engineers and support the delivery of projects to a high standard
• Work across multiple projects while managing priorities and deadlines
• Complete electrical works in line with current regulations and Health & Safety requirements
• Carry out company Risk Assessments where required
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently
• Work both independently and as part of a wider project team
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, compliance and customer service
• Travel to various sites and stay away when required, with appropriate notice

What We're Looking For

• Level 3 electrical qualification / Apprenticeship / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• 18th Edition qualification
• Testing & Inspection – 2391 or equivalent
• ECS Card
• Proven site experience in a similar electrical role
• Minimum 3 years' relevant industry experience
• Good knowledge of electrical, construction and building services systems
• Enhanced DBS clearance or ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check
• Full clean manual UK driving licence – confidential discussions regarding points
