2 x part-time roles available, each 24h per week + overtime

A modern, well-equipped care home with newly invigorated leadership is looking for compassionate, capable senior carers to join their team. This is part of a family-run group dedicated to delivering exceptional standards of care in a warm and supportive environment.

They are looking for 2 part-time senior carers for night shifts:
Night shifts are 8pm-8am, shift patterns available are:
Person 1: week 1 - Friday & Saturday, week 2 - Monday & Thursday
Person 2 : week 1 - Thursday & Sunday, week 2 - Friday & Saturday
We're looking for:
- Experienced carers and senior carers with residential care home experience
- Individuals who are comfortable with personal care
- Good communication skills and English proficiency
- Genuine warmth and the ability to build strong relationships with residents
We need people who are naturally friendly, dependable, and motivated to deliver high standards of care in this close-knit community.
The Role:
- Ensure that service users are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences are taken into consideration to enhance their wellbeing
- Support service users to maintain their relationships and connections with the local community
- Ensure care plans and other information about how to support service users are followed
- Be responsible for informing the Nurse of any changes in the needs of service users
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support
- Develop effective working relationships with other employees within the service
- Work in cooperation with members of the multidisciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for service users
- If desired by the service user, maintain and develop relationships with their family, friends and other people important in their life
