Head of Financial Strategy

Full Time / 37 Hours Per Week / Permanent
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment to lead our corporate finance function.
Responsibilities
Help secure the long-term financial stability and sustainability of the Council by advising the Council''s executive leadership on strategic financial planning.
Produce the annual revenue and capital budgets, along with in-year reporting and forecasting.
Manage several teams including those responsible for treasury, taxation, and corporate reporting.
Provide professional financial advice in local government with excellent leadership skills and integrity.
Qualifications
Experience in finance with a proven track record of providing financial advice in local government.
