Senior Quantity Surveyor
We are proud to be partnering with a leading housing association, who are looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis.This will be a full-time position based in Kent, with hybrid working (2/3 days home working) and a salary of £53,888 - £67,360 plus a Car Allowance of £2,329. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor or similar role ideally managing planned works programmes.Duties will include (but are not limited to):Leading financial management of planned works programmes, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flowProcuring contracts and managing works through frameworksAssessing contractor cost claims and processing monthly valuationsManaging variations, change control, and final accountsCarrying out delay analysis and managing extension of time claimsAdministering contracts across JCT, NEC, and related formsEnsuring value for money and driving cost efficiencies across programmesSupporting stakeholder relationships across internal teams and contractorsMentoring and supporting a Quantity Surveyor apprentice joining in 2026Experience required:Significant experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor or similar roleProven experience managing planned works programme and/or framework contractsExperience working within social housing, local authority, or a regulated environmentSkills, knowledge and expertise required:Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g. NEC, JCT)Excellent commercial awareness, ..... full job details .....
